Blackjack, also known as 21’s is a fast and exciting game. Its popularity has grown in the last couple of years as it is a game that one can either spend hours playing where you try to break the bank or you can pop onto your favourite online casino and have a couple of rounds when you have a few moments to spare. It is not a game that takes long and you will never have to leave a game half finished.
The whole aim behind Blackjack is to get cards to add up to 21. Once you have secured your place at a table, you will need to place your bet before the dealer or banker will deal your cards. On the first round you will get two cards and the bank will get two cards. The bank has to expose one card while the other card is dealt face down. However your two cards are dealt face up.
In the second round you can either choose another card to try and get as close to 21 as possible, or you can decline. The player or banker is allowed to take as many cards as they wish, but if they take one card that puts them over the limit of 21 – either the player or the banker is immediately deemed as “Bust” and is no longer in the game.
There are a few terms that are used in online Blackjack, such as Insurance, Surrender, Early or late Surrender, Double Down, Even Money, Split Hand, Hard Hand and Soft Hand and all these terms play a vital role in the your Blackjack Strategy.
